Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Vocabo mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you do not have permission to access the App.

2. Description of Service

Vocabo is a vocabulary learning application that utilizes AI-generated cinematic reels to demonstrate words in real-life contexts.

• Free Tier: Free users are granted access to a maximum of three (3) word reels per day.
• Premium Tier: Paid subscribers receive unlimited daily access to all word reels and premium features.

3. Premium Subscriptions & Apple Auto-Renewable Terms

Vocabo offers an auto-renewing premium subscription for $4.00 per month (or equivalent in your local currency). By subscribing, you agree to the following terms required by Apple:

New subscribers are eligible for a 3-day free trial. After the trial period ends, the subscription will automatically renew at $4.00 per month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID (iTunes Account) at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

4. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (including but not limited to the AI-generated video reels, text, graphics, and logos), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Vocabo and its licensors. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, download, repost, copy, or use said content, whether in whole or in part, for commercial purposes or for personal gain, without express advance written permission from us.

5. User Guidelines

While using Vocabo, you agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or exploit the 3-reel daily limit on the free tier.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the App.
• Use the App in any way that is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Vocabo makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the App or the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the AI-generated content.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Vocabo, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.

8. Standard Apple End User License Agreement (EULA)

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
